Australian reasearcher Jim Mussared has compiled what he says is a dossier of weaknesses and he believes could make the COVIDSafe app vulnerable to a range of different attacks.
The researcher says the app gives the government full access to the iPhone device name which is normally hidden on the iPhone, which would give the Government the potential for permanent tracking of the iPhone even if after the app has been removed.
