On Tuesday afternoon a stolen Toyota Hilux was sighted in the Borragul area by Highway patrol officers. The vehicle was seen to stop and the driver run off and over a fence. PD Yule attended and commenced a track which resulted in the suspect being located hiding in the bushes and being arrested.
The driver had been disqualified until 2025. He was charged with Breach of Bail, Drive whilst Disqualified and drive conveyance taken without consent. He was bail refused.
