Around 6:50pm Saturday night emergency services were called to house in Cessnock after a toddler had managed to get locked the house.
NSW police, Cessnock Fire and Rescue and Cessnock district rescue squad worked together to force a window open above the door open and a fire fighter managed to learn inside and unlock the front door.
No one was injured during the incident and both mum and toddler were happy to be reunited with each other.
