How dare ACM ask you to delete Facebook and return like nothing ever happened, just like a spoilt little kid who didn’t get their way.
ACM are the owners of the Major Newspapers in the Hunter including the Newcastle Herald and the Maitland Mercury. They pleaded with you to delete Facebook after Facebooks blanket news ban.
However the hypocrites over at ACM wasted no time posting to Facebook after the ban was lifted by Facebook this morning with their first post around 6:30am this morning on the Newcastle Herald page gloating the new media code has passed.
However, they have been Zucker punched and regional papers are unlikely to see a cent from Facebook.
ACM did do a deal with Google Showcase however we don’t how much the deal is worth but it will allow google showcase users access to selected paid content.
Just remember ACM only cares about money and not their readers next time you click one of their links only to be greeted by a pay wall.
