MAN AIRLIFTED TO JOHN HUNTER IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER STABBING

Man critical after being stabbed.

A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was found with stab wounds at a caravan park on the state’s Central Coast.

About 7.30am today (Sunday 11 April 2021), a resident of a caravan park on The Entrance Road, located an injured man in the amenities block and contacted emergency services.

The 42-year-old man suffered several stab wounds to his neck and back and was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for treatment.

Officers from Tuggerah lakes Police District attended, and several crime scenes have been established.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Wyong Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
