LEAH ANDERSON ANNOUNCED AS LABORS MAYORAL CANDIDATE FOR PORT STEPHENS

Labor has announced Port Stephens business chamber President Leah Anderson will run as the party’s mayoral candidate in the upcoming local government election.

“I’ve had a year to rethink and regroup and make sure that I’m doing the right thing, and 100% know that I am doing the right thing” said Ms Anderson.

Leah Anderson is the founder of Port Stephens women in business and is a longtime member of the Rotary Club, she also volunteers for Port Stephens koalas.

Leah Anderson will run alongside westward councillor Giacomo Arnott.

” I’m delighted to be joined by Councillor Giacomo Arnott in West Ward, and Jason Wells – Port Stephens Council Candidate in Central Ward, who will be working with me over the next four months to listen to you and better understand the challenges being faced by you and your family.” said Ms Anderson
