Emergency services were called to Strzelecki Lookout at Bar Beach overnight around 6pm Wednesday 20th January after receiving reports of concerns for the welfare of man
Upon arrival emergency services discovered a body of a man.
Police have established a crime scene and a recovery operation is underway.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
The public are urged to avoid the area whilst the operation is ongoing.
