Emergency services were responding to reports of a single bee sting in the US city of Pasadena were shocked when they arrived on scene and they were attacked by 40,000 Africanized bees.
3 emergency service workers were injured in the attack with one firefighter being stung 17 times and 2 other people we’re taken to hospital.
Firefighters and a bee keeper had to climb to the top of a story building to remove the hive. Some bees we’re killed in the operation and the rest left the area after the sun went down.
