Hoon Driver cops $954 in fines but keeps licence.

Hoon driving is nothing new in Cessnock just sit outside for 30 minutes and you are almost gaurtneed to here someone burning rubber in cessnock.

At 2pm on Wednesday afternoon a 20 year old man was observed by police doing a burnout from the traffic lights at hall street and than into a fishtale up hall street

The offending driver was issued a $686 traffic infringement and $286 fine for displaying his P plates and as well a loss of 5 demerit points.

Unfortunately this young man keeps his licence but has been left with 2 demerit points for the remaining time on his P’s, let’s hope this is enough to change this young man’s driving habbits.
